1. Create a blog. Blogger, Wordpress, Livejournal are options. There are others. If you use blogger, you need a google (gmail) address, so create that first.
2. Once you’ve set up your blog, write five headlines and blurbs, linking to news stories. Use the following sites: nytimes.com, cnn.com, usatoday.com and Winthrop.edu (news and announcements). This means you will have five different headlines with five different blurbs.
3. See if you can post a photo to your blog. See if you can embed a video on your blog. Note: with photos and videos, you need a short explanation of what they are.
